A new monthly Family Service at St Mary’s Church.

.A new monthly Family Service was launched at St Mary’s Church in South Milford on Sunday 18th July and at 4pm.

The service and activities associated with it will be put on by families for families and be full of fun and activity based learning, with a bring and share meal afterwards.

The service and activities are open to all – so come along and join us for this festival of family fun and worship.

‘Back to Church Sunday’

Sunday 26th September

9.30am  at St Mary’s
11.00am at St Wilfrid’s

A special occasion to invite friends and family back to Church if they haven’t been for a while (or in some cases for many years)!

The service will be a ‘welcome back’ service.
 Light refreshments served afterwards.

St Mary’s Harvest Festival - 2010

Sunday 10^th October at 9.30am

The Harvest Festival is in the context of a ‘Family Communion Service’ and will therefore be very relaxed – so please feel free to bring the children along no matter what age they are. There will also be light refreshments after the service.

Finally, the children are encouraged to bring along ‘harvest gifts’ to the service (fresh produce) which will be auctioned off at Harvest Supper the following evening, with the proceeds going to ‘Water Aid’.

St Wilfrid’s Harvest Festival

Sunday 3rd October 11am   St Wilfrid’s

Come and join us for our Harvest Festival where we will again be joined by the Monk Fryston School Choir who will lead us in part of our worship.

Harvest gifts are welcome and they will then be taken to the Salvation Army
for their work with the homeless in York.
