The Bereavement Support Group meets every Monday afternoon (with the exception of Bank Holidays) and provides a relaxed setting for individuals who are struggling with the loss of a husband, wife or partner. It meets at the back of St Mary’s Church from 2-3.30pm over a cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit and provides an opportunity to meet with other people who know exactly what it is like to go through this extremely challenging time.
Some of those present are just beginning the process and other have been traveling that difficult road for many months; because of this it is possible for individuals to help one another in coming to terms with what has happened and also to give some understanding to the process.
On occasions the group will head out for lunch or perhaps take a trip out somewhere.
